Biography:
Prof. Dr. Hakan F. Öztop is a distinguished academic and researcher at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Firat University, Elazig, Türkiye. He is globally recognized for his expertise in natural convection, solar energy systems, nanofluid-based heat transfer, and thermal energy modeling. His research has significantly contributed to the fields of heat and mass transfer, CFD simulations, and thermoelectric and composite materials.
He has published more than 200 SCI/SCI-E indexed papers, with a Google Scholar citation count exceeding 15,000 and an h-index of over 63, reflecting his impactful contributions. Some of his most cited works include pioneering studies on nanofluid convection and thermal modeling in complex enclosures.
Prof. Öztop has served as an editor and reviewer for high-impact journals such as Applied Thermal Engineering, Renewable Energy, and Energy Conversion and Management. He has collaborated with international scholars from Saudi Arabia, China, and Malaysia and frequently participates as a speaker and panelist in global symposia.
His contributions to thermal system design, energy efficiency, and simulation-based engineering continue to influence both academic and industrial sectors.
